About Benaulim Beach
Located in the southern part of Goa, Benaulim beach is just 41 km from Panjim, the capital of Goa. Besides the serene environs and picture perfect setting of Benaulim, another thing which sets it apart from the rest is a mythological lore attached with the place. It is believed that this is the place where an arrow fired by Lord Parshurama landed, thus resulting in the formation of the region. A mix of relaxation and charming beach activities make Benaulim a perfect vacationing destination.

The place can be visited anytime of the year, however, it is best to avoid a visit during the monsoon season between June and October when heavy rains can take away the charm of the place. The beach is at its glorious best between the months of November and April which is also the best time for a visit.
