Majorda beach is located just 37 km from the capital of Goa, Panaji in the
Salcete taluka. The nearest major town is Margao, situated just 10 km from
Majorda.

stay close to the shores, especially if you are not a trained swimmer.
Majorda is also an excellent place for leisure activities. You can read your
favourite book while having a quite stroll on the velvety sand or enjoy a

Situated a little distance from Majorda Beach are other tourist
attractions, which include the Maede Deus Church built during the year 1588,
Utorda Beach (1 km), which is famed for its beach shacks that are known for
Goa's best sea food and the Betalbatim Beach, situated 5 km from Majorda.

Getting There
By Air : Dabolim airport, situated close to the capital
Panaji is located just 26 km from Majorda. Indian Airlines and other flight
operators connect Dabolim with other major cities in India as well as a few
international cities. Pre paid taxis are the best available option to reach
Majorda from Dabolim while you can also hire motor bikes from any of the
nearby cities.
By Rail : Margao, situated 14 km from Majorda is the
nearest and most convenient railhead, which is connected to all the major
Indian cities through regular trains. Buses, taxis and auto-rickshaws are
easily available to reach Majorda from Margao.
By Road : Buses ply every hour from Margao bus stand to
Majorda. Panaji is also connected to Majorda through well built roads.
Besides, motorcycles and taxis can also be hired to reach Majorda.
