About Agra
Taj Mahal - AgraNot only foreign visitors, even locals, who have seen the Taj over and again, keep flocking to view the monument of love all the year round. Because when it comes to visiting the Taj there's only one rule: 'Once is not enough'. If you are an architecture freak, you can always come and explore some of the finest specimens of Mughal architecture in Agra. The city was in its full swing during the reign of Emperor Shah Jahan who was the builder of Agra Fort and the marvel of love, the magnificent Taj. The deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, another Mughal wonder, is just at a distance of 37 km from the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh. While you are here, do remember to book your stay at a hotel that stands close to Taj Mahal so you may enjoy different angles and views of the monument, waking up and going to bed.
