About Kozhikode

Pazhassiraja Museum
5 km from Kozhikode, this ancient building houses a museum and an art gallery with beautiful murals, bronze statues, antique, old coins etc on display. The art gallery houses a collection of paintings from the personal collection of Raja Ravi Varma.

Kozhikode Beach
The enchanting beach is an excellent place to witness the beauty of the sun setting behind the blue waters of the ocean. A lighthouse and two old piers are other tourist magnets around the area.

Krishna Menon Museum

Velliyamkallu

By Rail : The railway station at Kozhikode is located on Ansari Road about 2 km from the main bus stand. Regular trains connect Kozhikode with Ernakulam, Trivandrum, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore.

By Road : The state transport bus station is located on the Mavoor Road while another bus stand is situated close to the Bank Road. Regular buses operated by the KSRTC connect Kozhikode with other neighbouring cities such as Mangalore, Mysore, Ooty, Coimbatore, Trivandrum, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Kochi.
