A trip to India is never complete without
witnessing the rich wildlife of the northern India. The variety of animal
species is huge and at the same time the animals are rare and exotic,
including some interesting endemic species as well. Mountain terrain, sal
forests, teak forests, marshes, grasslands and scrublands make the jungle
topography as varied as the animal species itself. The Himalayan foothills,
the Terai region, the plateau of Chhota Nagpur and even the Thar Desert are
known to be home to a number of species of animals, birds and reptiles. So,
whether you are looking for an elephant safari, a jeep safari, a bird
watching tour or a nature or jungle walk, the northern India has the
potential to fulfill your thirst for the wild.
The Corbett National Park in the state of Uttaranchal is known for its

travellers for its friendly tigers whereas the Keoladeo Ghana National Park
is frequented for its more than 300 exotic species of birds including both
domestic and migratory. Kanha National Park and Bandhavgarh National Park in
